Ptl. Farmer is a lifelong resident of Monmouth Beach, and he joined the department as a special officer in 2002. In June 2006 Ptl. Farmer received the Life Saving Award for resuscitating a victim during a first aid call. Ptl. Farmer has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Brookdale Community College. Ptl Farmer was appointed as a full time Patrolman in January 2008. Peter enjoys cross country running and spending time with his family.
