and will not be included due to privacy issues and/or investigative purposes.

Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest
Officers responded to
a River Ave. address for a harassment complaint.
While investigating the incident a Monmouth Beach resident was arrested
for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Lt. Dennis Cahill made the arrest.
May 2
Drug Arrest
Ptl. Ryan Rodriguez
conducted a motor vehicle stop for a speeding violation on Ocean Ave.
During the investigative portion of the traffic stop the operator of the
vehicle was found to be in possession of four bags of marijuana.
The 22 year old Fair Haven resident was arrested and charged with
possession of CDS and issued a summons for speeding.
May 4
Underage Possesion of Alcohol / Open Container of Alcohol in Vehicle
Ptl. Peter Farmer
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave. for a careless driving violation.
During the investigative portion of the traffic stop the 17 year old
operator of the vehicle was found to be in possession of an open container of
alcohol. The 17 year old Middletown
resident was taken into custody, charged with underage possession of alcohol,
issued two motor vehicle summonses, and released to her parent.

Verbal Dispute
Ptl. Peter Rechtman
and Lt. Dennis Cahill responded to a verbal dispute between family members at a
Valentine Street residence. The
responding officers assted with rectifying the issue for the evening without
further incident.
May 8
Hit & Run Motor Vehicle Collision
Ptl. Peter Farmer
responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles.
One of the vehicles had left the scene prior to the arrival of police.
The accused vehicle and operator were located on Seaview Ave.
The 23 year old operator of the vehicle that had fled was issued
summonses for careless driving, failure to report an accident to law
enforcement, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property
damage.
May 8
Unresponsive / Intoxicated Subject
Ptl. Peter Farmer was
conducting patrol duties when he observed a male subject lying unconscious on a
front lawn of an Ocean Ave. residence.
The subject was highly intoxicated and unresponsive.
The 36 year old Long Branch resident was transported to Monmouth Medical
Center for evaluation and treatment.
May 9
Verbal Dispute
Sgt. Daniel McManus
responded to a call for service involving a verbal dispute on Tocci Ave.
The two involved individuals were involved in a road rage incident which
led to a verbal dispute in the roadway.
Each respective party was explained of his right to sign motor vehicle
summonses against the other.

handled a call for service involving a verbal dispute over a parking space at
the Wharfside manor Condominium Complex.

girlfriend in the parking lot of Sallee T’s Restaurant.

Unknown subject
gained entry into a Wesley Street residence and stole jewelry and cash.
Sgt. Daniel McManus is investigating the incident.

Illegal Fireworks
Ptl. Peter Farmer
responded to a complaint of fireworks being ignited on the beach in the area of
the Monmouth Beach Bathing Pavilion.
Upon arrival a subject was found to be on the premises and in possession of a
cache of illegal fireworks. The
subject was issued a verbal warning and the items were confiscated and
destroyed.
May 16
Warrant Arrest
Ptl. Ryan Rodriguez
conducted a motor vehicle stop for a speeding violation on Patten Ave.
During the investaigative portion of the traffic stop it was determined
that the operator of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license and an active
warrant issued out of Asbury Park for contempt of court.
The 25 year old Long Branch resident was arrested, issued several motor
vehicle summonses, and released after posting cash bail.

Theft
Unknown subject
removed approximately $1,000.00 worth of construction materials from a
construction work site on Bayonne Ave.
Ptl. Ryan Rodriguez is investigating the incident.

Motor Vehicle Collision / Unresponsive Subject
Sgt. McManus and Ptl.
Rodriguez responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving one
vehicle. Upon arrival at the scene
it was determined that the operator of the vehicle had suffered a medical
emergency, the vehicle had left the roadway, struck a tree, and stopped on the
front lawn of a Seaview Ave. residence.
The operator of the vehicle was unresponsive and transported to Monmouth
medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

Underage Possession of Alcohol / Noise Complaint
Sgt. McManus, Ptl.
Rechtman, and Ptl. Farmer responded to a noise complaint / loud party at a
Harbor Way residence. While handling
the call for service it was determined that the juvenile resident was hosting a
party with underage consumption of alcohol.
The juvenile resident and ten additional juveniles were taken into
custody for underage possession of alcohol and released to a parent.
May 23
Fight
Sgt. Thomas Walsh
responded to a fight in progress in the parking lot of the Getty Gas Station on
Ocean Ave. Upon arrival one of the
involved individuals had fled the area.
Witnesses reported the incident involved a verbal argument which then led
to a mutual fight between two men.
The other involved individual refused medical attention and did not want to
pursue the matter further.
May 25
Warrant Arrest
Ptl. Godwin conducted
a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigative portion of the stop it was determined that the operator
had an active warrant issued out of Keansburg Municipal Court for contempt of
court. The 19 year old Sea Bright
resident was arrested and released after posting cash bail.
May 27
Warrant Arrest
Special Officer
Kenneth Errickson conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wesley St.
During the investigative portion of the stop, it was determined that a
passenger inside the vehicle had several active traffic and criminal warrants
issued out of the Tinton Falls and Rumson Municipal Court.
The Long Branch resident was arrested, processed, and custody of the
subject was transferred to the Rumson Police Department.
May 28
Open Container Alcohol
While conducting
patrol duties in the area of Griffin Street Park while several little league
games were taking place, Ptl. Aaron Rock observed a subject consuming alcohol
inside a vehicle parked in a parking lot at Griffin Street Park.
The 33 year old Oceanport resident was issued a summons for a borough
ordinance violation / open container of alcohol in public.
May 31
Trespassing
Ptl. Rechtman
responded to a trespassing call for service at the Monmouth Beach Bathing
Pavilion. Upon investigating the
incident it was learned that a juvenile had climbed a locked fence on the
premises, entered the pool area, and went swimming.
The juvenile was located on the premises by Ptl. Rechtman, taken into
custody, and released to a parent.
June 6
Burglary
An unknown subject
gained access to a Gail Dr. garage and removed fishing poles and reels with an
approximate value of $700.00. Ptl.
Godwin is investigating the incident.
June 8
Trespassing / Intoxicated Subject
A River Ave. resident
reported a subject in front of his house ringing his doorbell at 5:00am.
Sgt. McManus responded and located an intoxicated subject on the
property. It was determined that the
subject was intoxicated and unable to walk to his residence in Long Branch.
The subject was transported back to his residence by the Long Branch
Police Department.
June 10
Warrant Arrest
Ptl. Peter Rechtman
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave. for violation of use of cell phone
by the operator. During the
investigative portion of the stop it was determined that the subject had two
active warrants issued out of Wall Township and Brick Township Municipal Court.
The Point Pleasant resident was arrested, processed, issued a summons for
use of a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle, and released after a bail
bondsman posted bond for the subject.

Warrant Arrest
Special Officer
Matthew Clark conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigative portion of the motor vehicle stop it was
determined that the operator had an active traffic warrant and an active
criminal warrant for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
The 19 year old Freehold resident was arrested and released after posting
cash bail.

Special Officer
Kenneth Errickson conducted a motor vehicle stop on Patten Ave. for a failure to
stop at a stop sign violation.
During the investigative portion of the stop it was determined that the operator
had two active warrants issued for him out of Jersey City Municipal Court and
Little Silver Municipal Court. The
31 year old Monmouth Beach resident was arrested, processed, and released after
posting cash bail.
June 16
Criminal Mischief
Unknowned subject
covered an exterior door at the Monmouth Beach Bathing Pavilion with a petroleum
based substance. Ptl. Farmer handled
the call for service.
June 18
Burglary
An unknown subject
gained entry into a detached garage on Jessica pl. and removed a bicycle valued
at $400.00. Special Officer
Errickson is investigating the incident.
June 18
Fire / Motor Vehicle
Sgt. Walsh and
Special Officer Kenneth Errickson responded to a motor vehicle fire located on a
Monmouth Parkway driveway. The
vehicle was parked and unoccupied at the time of the incident.
The fire was extinguished and the incident was investigated by the
Monmouth County Fire Marshall.
June 18
Underage Possession of Alcohol
Special Officer
Errickson responded to the Monmouth Beach Bathing Pavilion for a report of
juveniles drinking alcoholic beverages on the beach.
Upon arrival one juvenile was located in possession of and consuming
alcohol. The 15 year old West Long
Branch resident was taken into custody, charged with underage possession of
alcohol, and released to a parent.
June 19
Fire / Outdoor Barbeque Grill
Lt. Dennis Cahill and
Ptl. Rechtman responded to an outdoor barbeque / propane tank on fire.
Lt. Cahill was able to extinguish the fire with a handheld fire
extinguisher.

Verbal Dispute
Lt. Cahill and Ptl.
Farmer handled a verbal dispute call for service between live-in boyfriend /
girlfriend.

Criminal Mischief
An unknown subject
smashed out several large panes of glass at the NJ Transit Bus Stop kiosk
located at Ocean Ave. and Valentine Street.
Ptl. Rock is investigating the incident.

Animal Incident / Shark Sighting
Manager of the
Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club reported a shark sighting just off the shore
line. The information was relayed to
the other beach clubs in the borough and surrounding municipalities.

Animal Incident / “Weird” Squirrel
A Riverdale resident
reported observing a “weird looking” squirrel in her backyard.
Ptl. Farmer investigated the claim and located no unusual looking
animals.
June 23
Residential Structure Fire
Lt. Cahill, Ptl.
Godwin, Ptl. Rock, and Ptl. Rechtman responded to a Drew Ct. residence on fire.
The officers were able to remove a dog from the residence and keep the
fire contained with handheld fire extinguishers until the Monmouth Beach Fire
Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

Theft / Sculpture
A large wooden
sculpture of a pelican was reported stolen from the front yard of an Ocean Ave.
residence. Special Officer Murray
handled the call for service.
June 29
Verbal Dispute
Ptl. Rodriguez
handled a walk-in verbal dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend inside the
police department headquarters lobby.
June 30
Erratic Driving / Warrant Arrest
Ptl. Peter Recthman
responded investigate a reckless driving complaint in the parking lot of Michael
Angelo’s Restaurant. While
investigating the complaint, Ptl. Rechtman located the accused.
While interviewing the subject it was determined that he had an active
warrant foe his arrest. The Neptune
resident was arrested, processed issued a motor vehicle summons for careless
driving, and released after posting cash bail.
June 30
Disorderly Subject
Lt. Cahill responded
to a call for service involving a disorderly subject disrupting a Monmouth Beach
School Board meeting inside the school.
The subject was escorted off the premises by Lt. Cahill and issued a
verbal warning for disorderly conduct.
July 1
Civil Protest
Several Monmouth
Beach Police Officers responded to 45 Ocean Ave. and monitored a press
conference conducted by U.S. Senator Menendez, U.S. Congressman Pallone, and
local politicians near the beachfront area.
A group of protesters had gathered in opposition of beach replenishment.
The press conference was conducted without incident.
July 1
Animal Incident / Dog Bite
Special Officer Clark
responded to a dog bite call for service.
Upon arrival Officer Clark spoke with the victim who had sustained
puncture wounds from a dog bite to his hand while out walking his dog.
The owner of the other dog was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run
at large without a leash.

Burglary
Unknown subjects
entered a garage on Navesink Dr. and removed two bicycles with an approximate
total value of $600.00. Lt. Cahill
is investigating the incident.

Intoxicated Subject
Ptl. Farmer handled a
call for service involving an intoxicated and disoriented subject walking in the
roadway on Channel Dr. Subject was
released to the custody of a family member.

Theft
Unknown subject
removed two bicycles from the property of sands Point North Condominiums.
The total value of the stolen property is approximated to be $250.00.
Ptl. Rodriguez handled the call for service.

Warrant Arrest
Special Officer Clark
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigatory portion of the stop it was determined that the
operator of the vehicle had an active warrant for his arrest issued out of the
Keansburg Municipal Court. The
Highlands resident was arrested, processed and released after posting cash bail.
July 4
Theft
Ptl. Ryan Rodriguez
responded to a beach club for a theft call for service.
Upon arrival the victim reported to Ptl. Rodriguez that her watch valued
at $10,000.00 had been stolen from the pool area.
Ptl. Rodriguez is investigating the incident.

Underage Possession of Alcohol / Possession of Marijuana
Three juveniles
walking down Beach Rd. were stopped by Ptl. Rodriguez after one of them was
observed drinking a can of beer.
During the investigative portion of this interaction, the juveniles were found
to be in possession of additional alcoholic beverages and marijuana.
The subjects were taken into custody, processed, and released to a
parent.
July 4
Assault
Ptl. Rodriguez
handled a call for service involving a subject assaulted in the parking lot of
the Channel Club Marina.

Driving While Intoxicated
Ptl. Rodriguez
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave. for various motor vehicle
violations. During the investigative
portion of the traffic stop it was determined that the operator was intoxicated
and could not safely operate a motor vehicle.
The 26 year old Tinton Falls resident was arrested, processed, and
released with several motor vehicle summonses including Driving While
Intoxicated and Failing to Submit Breath Samples.
July 5
Warrant Arrest
Special Officer Clark
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigatory portion of the stop it was determined that the
operator of the vehicle had several active warrants for his arrest.
The subject was arrested, processed and transported to the Monmouth
County Correctional Institute after failing to post bail.
July 5
Disorderly Conduct / Driving While Intoxicated
Ptl. Godwin and Ptl.
Rock responded to the Monmouth Beach Borough hall for a report of a subject
causing a disturbance inside the building at the conclusion of a borough
meeting. While en route to the call
for service, Ptl. Rock located the subject whom had left the area in a vehicle.
While investigating the incident Ptl. Rock determined that the subject
was intoxicated and could not safely operate a motor vehicle.
The 55 year old Monmouth Beach resident was arrested, processed, issued
several summonses including Driving While Intoxicated and Failing to Submit
Breath Samples, and released.
July 7
Residential Structure Fire
Sgt. McManus and
Special Officer Errickson responded to an Ocean Ave. residence on fire.
Upon arrival officers observed the exterior of the building was on fire.
Officers ordered all occupants to vacate the dwelling and the fire was
extinguished with a hand held fire extinguisher.
The incident is being investigated by the Monmouth County Fire Marshall’s
Office.
July 8
Burglary
Unknown subject
entered a Mann Ct. residence and stole $900.00 in cash.
Ptl. Rock is investigating the incident.

Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle
Sgt. McManus and
Special Officer Murray responded to a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian
struck and pinned under a motor vehicle in the parking lot of 45 Ocean Ave.
Officers responded and tended to the injured individual until he could be
extracted from under the vehicle by the Long Branch Fire Department.
The pedestrian sustained life threatening injuries and remains in
critical condition. Sgt. McManus is
investigating the incident.
July 9
Animal Incident / Tortoise Traffic Hazard
Sgt. Walsh responded
to a call for service on Borden Street involving a large injured turtle in the
roadway. Upon arrival the animal had
moved to the side of the road where it was picked up by animal control.

Bicyclist Struck by Motor Vehicle
Sgt. Walsh and
Special Officer Errickson responded to Ocean Ave. and Seacrest Rd. a motor
vehicle collision involving a motor vehicle and a cyclist.
The cyclist sustained minor abrasions and lacerations and refused medical
attention.
July 9
Driving While Intoxicated
Sgt. Daniel McManus
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave. for a traffic infraction.
During the investigative portion of the traffic stop it was determined
that the operator was under the influence of alcohol and could not safely
operate his vehicle. The 21 year old
Ocean resident was arrested, processed, and released after issued being issued
several summonses including Driving While Intoxicated and Failing to Submit
Breath Samples.
July 10
Theft of Bicycle
A resident reported
that she had entered a restaurant on 36 Beach Rd.
Upon exiting the restaurant she observed that someone had stolen her
bicycle valued at approximately $200.00.
The bicycle was unlocked and thevictim had been inside the restaurant for
approximately five minutes. Ptl.
Rodriguez handled the call for service.
July 10
Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle
Sgt. McManus and
Special Officer Errickson responded to a motor vehicle collision with a struck
pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained
a foot injury. Officer Errickson
handled the report.

Verbal Dispute
Ptl. Rechtman was
flagged down by a subject involved in a heated verbal dispute with a taxi
driver. The two subjects were
arguing over the fare and the taxi driver’s refusal to release the luggage of
the customer. Ptl. Rechtman resolved
the issue.
July 11
Drug Arrest
Ptl. Rodriguez
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigative portion of the traffic stop the operator was
found to be in possession of marijuana.
The 23 year old Monmouth Beach resident was arrested, processed, and
released.
July 11
Assault / Criminal Restraint / Domestic Violence
Lt. Cahill and Ptl.
Godwin responded to a Valentine St. residence for a domestic violence call for
service. A 22 year old borough
resident was arrested and charged with assault, criminal restraint, and
disorderly conduct. The individual’s
bail was set at $15,000.00 and he was transported to the Monmouth County
Correctional Institution.
July 13
Driving While Intoxicated
Ptl. Peter Farmer
conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave.
During the investigative portion of the traffic stop it was determined
that the operator of the vehicle was intoxicated and could not safely operate a
motor vehicle. The 18 year old
Middletown resident was arrested, processed, and released on several summonses
including Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving.

Drug Arrest
During the
investigative portion of a motor vehicle stop, an 18 year old Little Silver
resident was arrested by Ptl. Godwin after she was found to be in possession of
marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
