Monmouth County Auto Thefts

    Monmouth County is experiencing an unusually high volume of auto thefts in the past few weeks.  The suspects are concentrating on affluent areas and are targeting high end, newer model motor vehicles.  One vehicle has been stolen out of the jurisdiction of Monmouth Beach.  The Monmouth Beach Police Department is investigating the incident in conjunction with the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.  Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked at all times and to report any suspicious activity immediately to the Monmouth Beach Police Department at 732-229-1313.
